The latest scuttlebutt has the Phillies close to signing Chan Ho Park to a one-year deal [link; hat tip].
In Park's last seven seasons, he's had exactly one good one: 2008. This could be a classic example of a player parlaying one good year into a nice little free agent contract.
Please Mr. Amaro, and I never thought I'd say this, but hang onto Clay Condrey. He's cheaper and just as good.
