Forgive me if you have seen or heard this before, but Donovan McNabb didn't know an NFL game can end in a tie.
Seriously. He didn't know. He didn't know.
I'm sorry, I've defended Donovan McNabb a lot over the years, but this is just inexcusable.
If he doesn't know a game can end in a tie, that calls into question several things, first and foremost is ability to make judgments and decisions as play unfolds in the overtime.
Think of the elite quarterbacks over the years -- Tom Brady, Steve Young, John Elway, Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning. Do you think they wouldn't have known that rule? You can be damn sure they would have known it and they would have engineered their offenses accordingly.
As of this writing, there are just over 89 days until pitchers and catchers report. I can't wait.
