Speaking of which, how about tonight's matchup in South Philly, Johan Santana for the Mets and Cole Hamels for the Phillies? Tonight could very well be an instant classic.
While I'd love to make a prediction, I'm not sure how you can. Two excellent pitchers representing two very good offensive teams that finished one game apart after 162 were played last year. At times like this, sometimes I think it is interesting to look at how Vegas or a site like Bodog.com sees things, and as of 2 PM today with 5 hours to go until the first pitch, it looks as if the odds are favoring the Mets, but not by much.
One thing you can definitely bet on is that a lot of people will be glued to a television or radio tonight.
