It's unfortunate that the Phillies couldn't mount an effort in the National League Divisional Series against the Rockies that was representative of their regular season play. Losing roughly 100 points in batting average is not a recipe for success.
The task in the offseason will be to improve the team's pitching and reflect on what they could have done differently at the plate in the playoffs.
In the meantime, we as fans can look back at what a fun but short ride the playoffs were. Personally, I'll choose to remember how I felt last Sunday, not today.
