Armed with a new notebook computer and a high definition television set, BS&S.com's Live LOST will return after a long hiatus this evening at 10 PM EST. As usual, updates, commentary and smartcasm below the jump.
Wednesday night is by far the best night on television, the only exception being when Cole Hamels takes the mound Sunday through Tuesday or Thursday through Saturday during baseball season.
Friday Night Lights begins at 9 PM, and the word on the street is that this episode is phenomenal. That will get us warmed up for that little piece of paradise in the south Pacific.
Pre-game:
Previews for tonight's Friday Night Lights are here and below is a preview for tonight's LOST:
-----------------
10:03 - Still finishing up with FNL. Great. Episode.
10:08 - Catching up with LOST... Its Lando Calgrissian! [sp?]
10:10 - Nikki RIP. I feel like we hardly knew her.
10:14 - Hurley thinks Nikki's dying words were "Paulo lies". I thought it was "Rosebud".
10:20 - Ethan shows up... This is like old home week, Boone, Shannon, Leslie the science teacher guy...
10:21 - Jack's speech on the beach early on after the crash is excerpted, and the old phrase "Live together, die alone" makes its return as well.
10:25 - Nikki and Paulo come across the crashed drug plane and one of the hatches. It's like Six Degrees from Nikki and Paulo Night. I'm hoping this gets tied up at the end.
10:51 - OK, please, no more jokes from Sawyer about not knowing who Nikki and Paulo
were. The joke was a nice cameo at first, but its worn out its welcome.
10:58 - "Paralyzed!"
Post-game: So, Nikki and Paulo, buried alive. A tragedy involving diamonds, greed, and love. Shakespeare and Hitchcock all rolled into one. The episode didn't really advance the ball at all, but the fact that the two were buried alive unwittingly by the Losties was a nice little twist/payoff at the end.
What did everyone else think of FNL and LOST?
