After some thought, I've decided on the best and worst sports moments for me of 2005.
The best was when Tiger Woods chipped in for birdie on the 16th hole at the Masters. I still smile when I think about the way the crowd's reaction to the ball jarred the cameraman. A close second was when Dillon Dougherty nearly chipped in on the 18th hole at Merion during his all-square at the time semifinal match. I was in attendance, and I still don't believe what I saw.
The worst was the closing two minutes of the Super Bowl. Painful, still, to think about. A close second was Billy Wagner serving up a homerun to Craig Biggio in early September. Of course, Biggio never should have gotten to the plate that inning...
