Link: Philadelphia Inquirer | 10/28/2005 | Phillies talk to former Astros GM Hunsicker.
Several interesting "noogets" of information are contained in this article. First, David Montgomery waited until Wednesday night's Game 4 of the World Series to call Mr. Hunsicker. By Thursday morning Hunsicker was on a plane to Philadelphia and by Thursday night he was back in Houston. He described his meeting with Monty as "productive."
Second, the Phillies are considering moving the left field wall back by one to three rows. If this were to happen, the Durso family season tickets would suddenly get a bit better. Sort of like how people who buy land in Arizona are expecting it to be oceanfront property someday when the San Andreas fault finally releases.
