...PK makes a request for me to write a post on Andre Agassi's win in the US Open last night (while the Phillies were throwing up at The Bank). So, here is what I have to say on Agassi and tennis:
1. When I saw the headline, I was reminded of Jimmy Connors' dramatic run in the US Open around...what, ten years ago?
2. I dabbled with tennis for two consecutive summers during college. Those were also the only two summers of my life where my golf game regressed. Hence, I haven't touched a racket since. My tennis instructor in college would probably be disappointed to read this, she said I was "scrappy".
...The Phillies had only 7% of their pitching prospects go down with injury from 1995 to 2004? Of course, few of them turned into actual usable pitchers...
