The slugging first baseman was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, retroactive to May 1. Ryan Howard was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and may start in his place.
No word on whether or not Ryan Howard will start in tonight's game versus the Mets.
